Our laminates have been tested and approved by the SABS for among other things: Tensile strength, flexural strength and modulus in flexure, Punch and lap shear strength, compressive strength, hardness(barcol), glass content, flammability, resistance to chemicals, abrasion resistance, resistance to weathering and properties for dielectric applications. This is done in accordance with the requirements of SANS 141:2006. We are also in the process of acquiring accreditation on SANS 1668: 2013 for manufacturing of underground storage tanks for petroleum products. We are engaging the services of an independent consultant in assisting the company with the ISO 2009:1998 accreditation for quality control. We are trusted to deliver to expectations.
Chameleon Fibreglass (Pty) is a collaborative effort of individuals who jointly have more than 80 years’ experience in the fibreglass business. The founders of Chameleon Fibreglass thus started putting substantial business experience and insight to execute small projects or sub-contracted to big players and lead big projects. The business is now in a position to play a significant role both locally and across our borders.
Our personnel have more than 80 year’s joint experience in the fibreglass industry. We are currently providing maintenance at Anglo Gold Ashanti South Uranium Plant. Among our job descriptions we assist with design, manufacturing and installing of various GRP items as per AGA requirements. Our current clientele base also include Anglo American (Rustenburg Base Metals Refineries) as well as Easi-Access Rentals (Pty).
